Last Day at Biltmore. Boo hoo!

Today was the last day at the Biltmore. We had a late dinner and the kids went to bed at 11 so we slept in until 9 am. Nana took them down to the pool so I could pack up the room and get everything loaded in the car. We then spent the next few hours touring the stuff we didn't have time for yesterday- the winery, farm and horse barn. The winery was very intersting for the adults where we got to see the huge metal vats for the white wine fermentation, the oak barrels for the reds and to see the double fermentation process for the sparkling wines. Very cool. The kids had a very good time at the farm seeing the draft horses, goats, chickens and lambs. By far the favorite was the baby chicks who were only a few days old.

Hi Kids,

You look great in these photos...you and the animals. All of them were so friendly...even Bert & Ernie, can't remember which one was kicking the gate for attention. Goo ploy, it worked. I had a great time with all of you. Love ya
