Rain, Rain, go away!

The rain had come to Dallas so last night the kids and I went to a sneak peak of Ratatouille while M & S had a dinner with M's old work buddies. The kids were very tired from spending the day in the pool with Melanie and Michael, but they managed to eat dinner, a large bag of popcorn and come back to the house for more dinner and chocolate milk.
Today S made M a big pancake breakfast with bacon on the side and berries on top for Father's Day. Golf had to be cancelled for the day, but he liked the rest of his presents. This afternoon we may go ice skating.
M & S have so many changes to the kitchen since we were last here. The counters are bull nosed marble with a black under mounted sink, the cabinets have been painted cream with an antiquing over glaze and the walls were stuccoed to add texture. It looks beautiful.
