Brain Benders

One of the best things about this museum was that it was very hands on. K and J liked the whisper dishes- the two parabolic shaped dishes were about 30 feet kittycorner across the courtyard. You could whisper into one and be heard clearly at the other dish. It illustrates how the shape captures and projects the sound waves. Then, the lobby was filled with spatial orientation puzzles. The kids loved the puzzles- K and I are better at the block 3- D puzzles, but J kicked our butts at the flat, fit into this shape puzzles.
