One of my favorite segments on NPR is Road Food on the Splendid Table. The restaurant The Cupboard came highly recommended. I am not sure I would drive 60 miles out of my way for the food, but it was very fun. K had the fried chicken, J the BLT- both with tots. I had the four veggie plate with cucumber salad, italian spinach, fried green tomatoes and yam salad. Only in the south does four veg have over 2000 calories!!
