University of Tennessee

This tiny little graveyard and pergola was the site of a Presbyterian Church that started a small women's college. Eventually the college decided to admit men. Now the place is known by another name- the U of K! Quite a growth curve. The top building is the home of UK football- Neyland Stadium. It seats 102,000 people and is the fourth largest stadium in the US. It sits right along the Tennessee River so people boat down to the games, tying up 6 deep along the river. The locals call this "The Vol Navy".
