long time, no blogging!

So our last day in Texas on Sunday was very chill. Kids played at the pool and I organized all the gear for another leg of the trip. This time we would go to Kansas City and meet up with C who could get a few days off work to see us. He arrived before noon so to kill time he dropped his bags off at the hotel and went to see The Dark Knight. We picked him up at the theater and went to eat at Panera bread. Afterword we went to Barnes and Noble to get K and I a copy of Journey to the Center of the Earth. We went to the 4 star hotel- the Hyatt, and looked out the window. WOW!! What a beautiful view from the 31st floor. The next day we had breakfast at the Starbucks in the lobby and K turned into a talkshow host. J of course, the reluctant guest.
