On Thursday the kids got a special treat. They got to go down to Auntie H's shop and learn to weld! It is very cool to have a friend who is a blacksmith! Click on the link above to see all the pictures of the kids and the class. The blond girl and the boy in the black t shirt and aviator glasses are twins that Auntie H used to nanny for when they were tiny. Now they are Miss K's age, going into 7th grade- going on 20! As Miss K said "You can tell they grew up in the city!"

That was very col to see the shop...or whatever you call a welding place. K&J looked like they were learning a few things. Did you actually weld something together? WHat were they going to be creating with the circles and 1/2 circles? That sign looked beautiful..couldn't read what it says. Nana
The big word they were working on said JUSTICE. Then carved inside each letter of JUSTICE was another word like Equality.
