WWI Memorial

This beautiful memorial was actually built before all the people it honors are too old to care. What a concept! With the center spire, two shrouded sphynxs building and of course- a fountain!- this memorial is large and moving. I'm not sure the symbolism of the sphynx with WWI, but it looks amazing. Also- chance to bikeride, but the geo cache was a bust
