Back in MD for Summer School

But that doesn't mean it is all work and no play. We took a post school trip to the zoo to see the pandas. It was a cool day (by DC standards) and we saw many of the animals out and about. The best view was of all the great cats, but J and K found a bird's nest in a light fixture in the Panda Exhibit. We watched mama bird forage for food and come back and feed at least one big mouthed baby.

We also watched the fireworks on the Mall and went to a reenactment at Gettysburg.
