Day One!

We made our early morning drive down to NC with very little trouble. I guess we were too early in the year for the big beach migration. K took a second to practice her violin at the South Hill, VA shell station because she is making a list of all the states where she played Ode to Joy. She is now up to three- Maryland, VA and a private concert for Nana Pat and Big Bad Bill.
At Nana's we spent the afternoon at the pool and the evening with Captain Jack Sparrow seeing the new Pirates of the Carribean movie. Double thumbs up from mommy and the kids, but Nana gave it two snores and slept through most of it. This morning we head out to Biltmore. Keep you updated.
