Yes, I know some people will say that a zoo is a zoo is a zoo, but the kids love them and I am a sucker for Pandas! Yes, to day we went to the Memphis Zoo and met LeLe, the boy panda on loan from China. YaYa the lady Panda was otherwise engaged. We went to the butterfly house, rode the tram, had lunch and had a great time during the hot and sunny Memphis morning.

Kids love the zoo, everyone loves zoos. Pandas are a bonus.

You know, I remember when the only panda was at the San Diego Zoo. Now every mid-size zoo has them!
Just for your information only FOUR zoos in the US have pandas. San Diego, National, Memphis and Atlanta.
YaYa just had a miscarriage- so sad. Hopefully she will be better soon.
That reminds me- must plan trip to Atlanta!
Yes, must go to the Atlanta acquarium in spite of the recent shark deaths.
I want to go there too! (Atlanta.....haven't been there in a while, not since Rodney King verdict when we got locked in the statehouse a people rioted outside). We've been through Atlanta since on their amazing highways but not stopped lately.
