Fossil Rim

I know it sounds crazy- but we went to a drive thru zoo. It is a huge open preserve you drive through feeding pellets to the animals that decide to come up to your car. Some animals prefer to stay far away snacking on the ample grasses while others will knock your window to get you to feed them over another animal. The kids loved seeing the animals up close and in such an open environment. They were also surprised by how the different breeds got along so well. Then only separate pens were for the cheetahs, the rhinos and the ocelot.
