While checking out the Internets (yes, that is a joke) I came across a great public water park in KC. The day was nice and sunny so it was a perfect day to see the KC tax dollars at work. We drove out to Springs Aqua Park and the kids had a great time. It had TWO water slides- one completely enclosed so you had no idea what dip or turn was coming next. Very scary for me, but J went on it about 50 times. K's favorite was something I had never seen before- a vortex pool. A section of the pool was a swirling circle. When you were at the very center you spun around incredibly fast. It also had a lazy river and a 10 foot diving board!

It was sad to leave Mike and Suzanne in Dallas. We all had a really great time. I am glad we gave them a break before their next group of company came in. Ok, just 24 hours but at least it was a little break. It did make it easier knowing we will see each other in two weeks at the beach! Can't wait.
