Party Palace

The first shot is the fabric covered pool room, followed by three shots of the "Jungle Room". Yes, that is marbled green shag carpet on the ceiling! Just so no one takes cheap shots at Elvis, he hired interior decorators to come up with these rooms. On the far left is a waterfall down the wall into a pool below. They found out the carpet was not just attractive, but served as a great sound enhancer so they used the jungle room as a make shift studio for jam sessions.
This concludes the tour of the house proper- from here you leave and go into the carport, home office, shooting range, then view the pool, meditation gardens, racquetball court and finally the grave site where Elvis, his twin brother who died in infancy, his parents and grandmother are interred.

Elvis was the King!! It is scary seeing the 70's style again. It was very cool at the time. Thank God "this to shall pass" occurs even in room decor. Sounds like you're having a good time and I love checking each morning for what happened yesterday. Love Nana
