We saw sculptures, one Shakespeares and fountains

Before dark we snapped a few pictures in the sculpture gardens, then went to go back to the car. On the way we noticed the street blocked off and a Free Will performance of Romeo and Juliet. We were a bit late for curtain, but that was great for the kids because we missed all the smoochie stuff, but were in perfect time for all of the sword fights, murders, poisonings and suicides! We all agreed that Juliet got a raw deal. She had to poison AND stab herself!
If you have never been to KCMO, it is called the city of fountains for a reason. They are everywhere. We are a bit bummed that we didn't get more of a chance to walk around the city. It was a great week for ducks!
We head out to Minneapolis tomorrow and last I heard Lorrie did not have internet access at home. Chris, breathe deeply... it is ok... you can use this thing called the P H O N E. We are planning a trip to the coolest library ever, but don't worry if post slow down for a bit.

Very cool sculture garden. The kids fit right in. Even got a dose of The other Big Bad Bill. That looks like a great stage performance of Romeo & Juliet.
I am sure you'll enjoy getting to Min Minn. The holiday traffic wil be picking up. Yuck
Love Mom

I want to echo Pat. I am enjoying your trip too and learning so much. Maybe you'll have to get internet access for Lorrie so you can keep on posting so fast. I loved the kids as part of the sculpture garden. They sure will have a lot for "what I did on my summer vacation". Thanks for including/inviting us along!
