Driving to Knoxville, TN

Two parts of the drive are not fun for me. One is through Chicago and the other is the far western part of North Carolina/ East Tennessee border. The road is narrow, steep, twisty and everyone drives at Mach 2. The two lane stretch is popular with 18 wheelers who have to stay in the right lane so you can go in the left lane at 70 or the right lane at 60 with a mac truck on your grill. To make it even more fun- very heavy rain. Oh and a cool looking McDonalds.
