Underwater lake

Another thing about the caves. This is a picture from a book about the caves. Here you can see the fish that are stocked in the lake. No animals naturally live in the cave, but scientist stocked the lake with rainbow trout. Their intention was to follow the path of the tagged trout as they left the cave and were caught in local streams and lakes. Unfortunately, the trouts really dig in the caves because they never left! The like the predator free, coco puff rich (from the tour guides) environment. Over time they have become less colorful and very grey compared to the average trout.
